Marketing Assistant
Job Description:
An outstanding opportunity to gain or extend experience in the fields of environmental non-profit and action sports. This position provides administrative and logistic support to the Surfrider Foundation’s Marketing Department. Responsibilities include responding to internal and external requests for materials, coordinating volunteer efforts, light bookkeeping, preparing mailings and other clerical/administrative tasks as required. The Marketing Assistant is also responsible for assisting department staff in the preparation of key initiatives and activations, including events, outreach and advertising.
Minimum Requirements:
- BA/BS preferred
- Must have excellent organization and communication skills
- Must be proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel and Power Point)
- Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to lift 30 lbs
- Must possess basic knowledge of the Surfrider Foundation and understanding of our mission
